HTC's Free Fone Fridays prize this week is the HTC Desire 530

Since early last month, HTC has been running its Free Fone Fridays contest. Every week, it has given away a pair of HTC handsets or tablets ranging from the HTC One M9 to the Nexus 9. This week's giveaway is the HTC Desire 530. To enter the contest, you will need to go to the sourcelink and fill in the entry form. It shouldn't take much time at all. To try to win the Desire 530, you will need to submit the entry no later than this coming Friday at 11:59pm PST.

The HTC Desire 530 carries a 5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. Under the hood you'll find the Snapdragon 210 SoC carrying a quad-core 1.1GHz CPU and the Adreno 304 GPU. 1.5GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of native storage (9.8GB available to the user). An 8MP camera graces the back of the phone, featuring an aperture of f/2.4. A 5MP front-facing snapper handles selfies and video chats. The non-removable 2200mAh battery fuels the handset, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed. This is obviously an entry-level model.

The contest has two weeks to go after this week. From Saturday December 17th at 12:00am PST to Friday December 23rd at 11:59 p.m. PST, you can enter to win an HTC One A9. And from Saturday December 24th at 12:00 a.m. PST to Friday December 30th at 11:59 p.m. PST, you can enter to win the best handset ever made by the company, the HTC 10. Note that for the last two weeks of the contest, HTC is giving away only one of each prize.
