HTC tweets a picture showing a white HTC 8X
A tweet sent out by HTC shows what appears to be an all-white version of its current top-shelf Windows Phone 8 model, the
HTC Windows Phone 8X. Currently, the device is available in Black, Blue, Red and Yellow. Now you might ask, well, why can't this be the handset formerly known as the
HTC M7 since that device is basically a
larger HTC 8X. And we might agree with you except that the placement of the flash on both models appears to be different. A grey version of the HTC 8X has been made available as a
special edition for Verizon employees.
If you're curious about the picture itself, the headline for it reads, "Sometimes you just need to tune it all out. Let us help." You might notice the young boy is tuning things out with his red HTC 8X while he is sandwiched by those two girls, sharing the all-white model. It could end up as a special edition of the phone, or perhaps it will be made widely available. Regardless, we think it looks quite nice, especially in contrast to the red model in the picture.

After staring intently at the picture, it would seem that the position of the flash would indicate that the phone in the picture is the HTC Butterfly, not the HTC 8X. Not that it makes the device any less stunning!
