"Something HUGE is coming from HTC" - that's what HTC USA stated on Twitter today, obviously talking about its upcoming MWC 2015 press event that will take place on March 1.
While HTC already confirmed that a "new One" smartphone will be announced on March 1, it didn't provide more information on this. However, we're all expecting the company to unveil not one, but two new handsets at MWC: the One M9, and the One M9 Plus.
The details gathered until now suggest that neither the One M9, nor the One M9 Plus is literally huge. The regular One M9 is expected to sport a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, while the One M9 Plus may not have a screen larger than 5.2 inches (with 1440 x 2560 pixels). Thus, perhaps HTC is using "huge" in the figurative sense here - after all, this will undoubtedly be a big announcement for the company. On the other hand, maybe the One M9 Plus is way larger than everyone is assuming. We'll just have to wait until March 1 to find out.
What do you think, is HTC using "huge" figuratively, or literally?
