HTC lifts cover off Desire L in Taiwan: affordable 4.3 incher
The HTC Desire L has just made its official entry in Taiwan, and it looks like a typical HTC device from the past with the signature industrial design and an easy to hold and operate 4.3-inch display. Apart from that, the Desire L is a typical low to mid-range device with a WVGA Super LCD2 screen and a 1GHz dual-core chip with 1GB of RAM.
It runs an unspecified version of Android (our bet is Jelly Bean, though) with the HTC Sense skin on top and it is a fairly thin device with its 8.9mm thin profile. It also weighs just 4.16 ounces or 118 grams.
On the back there is a 5-megapixel backside illuminated camera with a wide, f/2.0 aperture. The camera is capable of recording 720p HD videos. The battery is a 1800mAh one.
Overall, this looks like a solid offering for the affordable price that it will supposedly carry. Right now, though, it is announced only for Asia and we don’t expect to see it cross the pond any time soon.
