HTC confirms May 9th European release date for the HTC Flyer
Although much attention and emphasis was placed on the Sensation today at HTC's press event in London, but we finally heard an official release date for the HTC Flyer in Europe.
Taking center stage at the event, HTC’s very own Florian Seiche confirmed to all those in attendance that the 7” sized HTC Flyer will begin to go on sale in Europe starting on May 9th. Definitely not too bad at this point since it’s just roughly less than a month away, but we’re still wondering on when we’ll actually see Honeycomb make its presence known with the tablet.
Already, we’re seen quite a few retailers starting to offer pre-orders for the tablet with the SIM-free price of only £599.99 ($980). Undoubtedly, it doesn’t come off as being cheap, but taking into consideration its high-end specs and innovative HTC Scribe technology, it’ll actually improve the overall tablet experience.
