A leaked specs sheet tells us the HTC Wildfire S is coming to T-Mobile with a bunch of mid-range specs. Still, Gingerbread will be on board along with an undisclosed build of HTC's Sense. The unit is equipped with a 3.2 inch display with resolution of 320 x 480 and the Wildfire S will come with 512MB of both RAM and ROM. On back is a 5MP camera with AF and flash. A microSD card slot can increase storage by as much as 32GB.
The HTC Wildfire S will not make you forget about the HTC Sensation 4G, but for new smartphone users or those on a budget, this handset will more than suffice. Pricing, though, has not been mentioned although we can assume it won't cost as much as an high-end model, and we have no launch date for the phone. What the model does is remind of the song "Wildfire" by Michael Murphey which takes us back to the care-free days of our youth. And for that HTC, we say thanks.
