HTC US Product Manager joins Cyanogen
Cyanogen continues to hire away talent from other mobile companies. On Tuesday, another HTC employee made the jump. Product Manager Leigh Momii, who has spent three and a half years with the manufacturer, will become a Product Evangelist for Cyanogen starting this Friday; this is another way of saying that she will probably be working on various public relations campaigns for the company.
Cyanogen is growing up. Late last year, it teamed up with Oppo to offer the CyanogenMod version of the Oppo N1. And this year, CyanogenMod 11S, based on Android 4.4 Kit Kat, powers the OnePlus One.
Momii posted on her Google Plus page that making the switch was a difficult decision. Cyanogen is growing up from being a small group of custom ROM builders to a company that requires the expertise of a Product Evangelist.

"The knowledge I've gained at HTC is invaluable. I know that everything I’ve learned here in the last few years is going to benefit me immensely in this new role. There are a lot of great lessons learned and insights I now have that I can take with me and hopefully influence Cyanogen in a way that positively impacts the industry and the most important thing of all: the customer."-Leigh Momii
