Earlier this week we brought you exclusive images of the HTC Touch Pro2 for Verizon, but we've been wondering when it would be released. Just a few hours ago BGR reported that Verizon would release it on September 11th for $199 after $100 rebate with a 2-year contract. Now EngadgetMobile has confirmed the date and price, along with the phone's specification sheet. Features include Windows Mobile Pro 6.1, HTC's TouchFLO 3D UI, , 3.6" 480x800 pixel touch-sensitive display, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2MP Autofocus Camera, 3.5mm headset jack, and will be CDMA, GSM, EVDO Rev A, and Wi-Fi capable. It will have a 528Mhz processor with 512MB of Flash memory and 288MB of RAM. Naturally you can slip in a 16GB microSDHC memory card.
