HTC Sensation XL commercial focuses on Beats Audio
There are so many features on the HTC Sensation XL that can be used as fodder for a television ad. First of all, there is the 4.7 inch WVGA screen made from Gorilla Glass. And how about that snappy 8MP camera on the back with an f/2.2 aperture and a 28mm lens with dual LED flash that captures video at 720p? Those features of the handset certainly could have been the focus of an ad.
Other specs found on the model include a 1.3MP front-facing shooter that takes self-portraits for those narcissistic owners, and also allows you to engage in video chat. A single-core 1.5GHz processor is under the hood while 768MB of RAM tags along for the ride. And of course, Sense 3.0 can be found running over Android 2.3. The device is scheduled to get the Android 4.0 update.
What sets the HTC Sensation XL apart from other smartphones in its class, and the focus of the commercial, is the Beats Audio branding on the back of the unit. HTC points out on the ad that thanks to this audio package, the Sensation XL allows you to "feel every beat". According to the 30 second spot, that includes the beat of a Jello mold, muscles flexing and a rabbit whose hare hair is raised by static electricity.

The Beats Audio package includes the now well-known red earbuds and the special audio profile on the phone along with the Beats Audio logo on the back of the device. While the HTC Sensation XL is not coming Stateside, we can still take a look at what HTC is promoting heavily for the device to see what the Taiwan based firm might have in mind for promoting the Beats Audio enabled phones in the States, where the HTC Rezound premiered the Beats Audio package on Verizon.
