HTC One starts to receive Android 4.4.2 in the U.K., HTC One max receives the update in Europe
Over in the U.K., HTC is rolling out the Android 4.4.2 update for the HTC One. Last month, HTC pulled the update after issues were reported, but it is now available for the Vodafone and Three carrier-branded models of the handset. EE subscribers will soon be receiving the same update. And the Taiwan based manufacturer says that Android 4.4.2 will soon be distributed to U.K. owners of the HTC One mini.
Meanwhile, a tweet from LlabTooFeR suggests that the HTC One max phablet has started receiving Android 4.4.2 across Europe. The 5.9 inch device currently has Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 installed.
If you own the HTC One or HTC One max, you can try to coax out the update by clicking on the software update button.
