HTC One mini coming to T-Mobile?
HTC insider @LLabTooFeR has passed along some information involving the upcoming HTC One mini. According to a tweet that he sent out, the rumored bite-sized version of the stunning HTC One will have a home at T-Mobile. Verizon? Not so much. At least not right now when Big Red is concentrating on catching up to the other three major U.S.carriers with its release of the HTC One, expected next month. The mini is expected to carry a 4.3 inch display with resolution of 720 x 1280, a dual-core processor and an UltraPixel snapper. A UA Prof file published by HTC the other day, confirms the existence of the model and the resolution of the screen.
Besides the HTC mini, the speculation is that the HTC T6 will be a large sized version of the HTC One with a 5.9 inch screen offering 1080 x 1920 resolution. Rumored to be the first handset to run Android 5.0, the T6 is tipped to have an UltraPixel camera with OIS.
If it seems that HTC is relying heavily on the HTC One and variants of the phone to steady the ship in 2013, you'd be right on. Besides the HTC One mini and the HTC T6, there will be a "Nexus Edition" of the HTC One running without Sense. Beats Audio is aboard making the device just slightly more than stock Android. That model will launch June 26th from the Google Play Store for $599. And finally, there is the Developer Edition of the HTC One which comes with an unlocked bootloader for your modding pleasure. That variant is priced at $649 for 64GB of storage.
