HTC One going on tour, no plans to trash hotel rooms
As part of its marketing campaign for the HTC One, the Taiwan based company is taking its new flagship on the road with three different pop-up locations heading to eleven markets. It all starts today with the HTC BoomSound Lounge opening in major plazas in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. The lounges allow consumers to experience the HTC One's Boom Sound speakers. Small, intimate concerts will be held by Pharrell and Grouplove.

Next week, the HTC One tour rolls on to open pop-up stores inside shopping malls in eight major markets.These pop-up stores feature a "large, playful, interactive exhibit" that show off some of the features on the handset such as BlinkFeed, SenseTV and Zoe. In addition, you might see the HTC One on display in the lobby of some movie theaters.

Both AT&T and Sprint have the phone up for pre-order at a price of $199.99 with shipping starting on April 19th.
