HTC One X9 smiles for the camera once again
Just the other day, we showed you some new photos of the HTC One X9. The mid-range handset is expected to be launched early in 2016. Today, a whole new set of photos has been discovered, once again revealing the BoomSound speakers, the metal build, a SIM card slot that doesn't require a pin to open, and the housing for the rear camera that harkens back to the Nexus 6P.
Let's go over the specs again. The HTC One X9 features a 5.5-inch screen, carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The MediaTek 6795 chipset is under the hood, with a true octa-core CPU and the IMG G6200 GPU. Two variants of the phone will be offered. One will have 2GB of RAM with 16GB of ROM, and the other will offer 3GB of RAM with 16GB of ROM.
The 13MP rear-facing camera includes OIS, and the camera in front is a 4MP Ultrapixel snapper capable of taking selfies in low-light conditions. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on.

If these specs are legit, HTC listened to the many complaints made about the anemic 2150mAh battery on the HTC One A9, and is beefing up the power plant on the HTC One X9.
