HTC One V to launch on MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and U.S. Cellular
Among the trio of HTC One Android smartphones that was unveiled on Sunday, the HTC One V was the most modest in terms of specs, suggesting that a reasonable price tag would be among its main selling points. However, what was not exactly made clear was exactly which carrier or carriers would actually offer the device. Fortunately, we already have an update on the matter.
The HTC One V will be released on MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and U.S. Cellular, as confirmed by an HTC spokesperson. There are no exact details as to when the smarthpone will be made available for purchase, but a June release was mentioned during the device's announcement.
For those who need a reminder, the HTC One V is an Android 4.0 smartphone with a 1GHz single-core processor and a 3.7-inch SLCD2 WVGA display. The camera on its back is of 5-megapixels enhanced with the HTC ImageChip, and the amount of on-board storage stands at 4 gigabytes. Of course, the smartphone's interface has been treated to a customization - HTC Sense 3.6 runs on top of Ice Cream Sandwich.
Any takers?
