HTC One M9 (Sprint) gets its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update
A few weeks ago, HTC was hoping to update Sprint's One M9 to Android Marshmallow before the end of January. While that didn't happen, the update is rolling out starting today, February 5.
Sprint is officially confirming that its HTC One M9 is now getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which users can download over the air. As always, not all handsets are receiving the update instantly, but every M9 owner (on Sprint) will likely get it in a few days the latest.
Last week, Sprint also updated its HTC One M8 to Android Marshmallow. In case you're not familiar with the features of this new version of Google's OS, check out our Android Marshmallow review.
Sprint is currently selling the HTC One M9 for $29.50 monthly (for 2 years), or $708 upfront. But you should probably hold off from buying a One M9, at least until you see what the One M10 has to offer (in case you're wondering, HTC will likely announce and launch the One M10 in March).
