HTC One (E8) for Sprint revealed, should cost less than the One (M8)

Remember how we told you that the HTC One (E8) could be released in new markets at some point? Well, it looks like the handset is coming to the US. Sprint today uploaded an HTC One (E8) promo video on YouTube, clearly suggesting that it’s getting ready to sell the smartphone.

While there’s no official press release to announce the launch of the One (E8), we assume that Sprint will provide more details on this pretty soon.

As you may know, the One (E8) is a lower-cost variant of HTC’s One (M8) flagship smartphone. Its body is made out of plastic, not metal, and there’s no Duo camera on the back - instead, you’ll find a regular 13 MP snapper there. Apart from that, the One (E8) offers the same features that the One (M8) has, including: a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, LTE, BoomSound speakers, 5 MP front-facing camera, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, expandable internal memory, and a 2600 mAh battery. For a detailed look at the new handset, check out our HTC One (E8) review.

Sprint is currently selling the One (M8) for $199.99 on contract. We’re expecting the One (E8) to be offered for $149.99, or even less. But we’ll see.
