Ladies and gentlemen, here we have what seems to be the very first press photo showing the unannounced
HTC M8 / One 2. It comes from @evleaks, which means we should not doubt its authenticity.
The image is showing the HTC M8
in a protective case, but we can still see that the handset resembles last year’s HTC One.
The new Sense 6.0 UI, which is integrated with Android 4.4 KitKat, is also visible. Moreover, we can see a large front-facing camera (probably
5MP, as rumored) with what
could be a flash next to it. Dual speakers are included on top and at the bottom of the screen - which should be a 5-inch 1080p one. You can (and you should) click on the image on the left to enlarge it.
HTC confirmed that it would officially announce its next-generation smartphone on March 25. We’re not yet sure about the handset's name. M8 is merely a codename, so the device could be called One 2, or One+ when it officially arrives.
Here's what else we should expect from the new HTC flagship smartphone: a dual-sensor rear camera, quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and MicroSD card support. HTC may also release a
One 2 Mini, and a One 2 Dual SIM later this year.
