A word has it that HTC are working on a new handset, called Leo. According to the rumors, it would come in the clamshell form-factor, which is why the source suggests it might be the long-anticipated successor to the HTC Universal (which, however, is a side-opening clamshell). A successor to the Star Trek is also a possibility we should not exclude. Either way, the main display of the Leo has a WVGA resolution (480x800 pixels) and a 16:9 aspect ratio, while the external one should sport a QVGA res. OpenGL 2.0 support is also said to be on board (similarly to iPhone 3GS), which means that developers will be able to create some graphically-advanced applications for the device. Unfortunately, information on when we might see this one hit the market is not available as of now.
Are you excited about that possible Universal successor? Could this be the long-rumoredHTC Omni? Sound off in the comments!
