Consumers over in the UK will only have to look at Vodafone if they plan on grabbing the HTC Legend as it’s been announced that they will be the exclusive UK carrier for the uni-body designed handset. There’s definitely a lot riding on the HTC Legend’s back as it’ll have to live up to the expectations set forth by its predecessor; the HTC Hero. People who are really serious about grabbing the Android powered smartphone will have the opportunity to purchase it starting some time in April – it falls in line with the expected delivery dates Amazon UK has posted for its preorders. Despite the good news, it’ll have the duty of staying ahead of the curve as it’s set to face off with other premier Android smartphones like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and HTC Nexus One – but there’s little doubt that it’ll surely find a niche for itself.
