HTC HD7 already on backorder just hours after launch
Just a few hours after launch and already the HTC HD7 is on backorder. We can't say that we are surprised. After all, nearly a month ago we wrote that the model would become one of the initial Windows Phone 7 Superstars.
For the time being, T-Mobile says that it has no idea when shipments of the phone will be resumed. Those who try to order online at T-Mobile.com are greeted with a message that the item is not available for immediate shipment. That leaves the would-be online purchaser with two options, either continue the order and wait for stocks to be replenished, or buy another phone.
With a 4.3 inch screen and resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 5MP camera with dual flash and AF, HD 720p video capture and 576MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, the HTC HD7 is loaded and doesn't face the competition that most Android models have to put up with for now.
Hopefully for both T-Mobile and its customers, inventory of the HTC HD7 will be replenished before it is too late to be considered for this year's holiday shopping season.
