HTC Endeavor C2 to be a higher spec'd version of the HTC One X for a UK launch in October?
We've already heard about the HTC Proto, a slightly different version of the HTC One V with a larger 4 inch screen, expected to launch later this year. Then, there have been the rumors about a higher spec'd HTC One X+ coming to T-Mobile powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz Tegra 3+ processor. Now, we are hearing about a similar model to the HTC One X+ called the HTC Endeavor C2 which is purportedly heading for the U.K. market around October 1st at a price 5 GBP ($7.82) higher than the original HTC One X cost.
The HTC Endeavor C2 is expected to come to market powered by the quad-core 1.7GHz Tegra 3 processor and will have an improved battery, new color options for buyers and the urBeats earphones will be back in the box. The speculation is that all current accessores will fit the new model, meaning that the chassis will not change. Considering the specs match those of the rumored HTC One X+, this could turn out to be the same exact model heading to the fourth largest carrier in the States.
There are some rumored software changes coming with the Endeavor C2 such as ClearVoice technology for clear voice quality on calls, and "HTC Watch 2" which is the latest version of HTC's movie streaming store. While there was no word about which build of Android would be on the device, a new flagship model should have Android 4.1 on board with Sense 4.1 running on top.
