Up until today, those who were interested in purchasing the HTC EVO 4G and beat out those crowded stores could've easily bypassed all of that and opted to check out Sprint's web site. Although you had to wait some time before holding the actual device in your hand, customers easily had the convenience of buying the smartphone over the internet without setting foot outside. However, the popularity of the handset has proven itself as the smartphone is currently unavailable for purchase online – which can obviously justify Sprint's stance on it being the best handset launch in their history. Now the only other places left are of course the handful of online retailers still offering the handset and the busy stores across the country where you may bump into other people looking for the prized handset.
