HTC Desire takes flight with Cellular South starting today
In light of HTC's unveiling of the HTC Desire HD and Z, Cellular South customers can get situated with the plain old HTC Desire – something which still packs a wallop of power under its hood; despite being available in other markets for some time now. This still highly regarded and equipped Android handset sports the same lovable features we've seen previously with a couple of new worthy additions.
First and foremost, it features a 3.7” super LCD display which of course is now favored due to some shortages with AMOLED panels. It's powered by the usual peppy 1GHz Snapdragon processor, running Android 2.1, and offers the arsenal of Google mobile services we all know and love.
Already available for the taking, the HTC Desire is retailing for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with your signature on a 2-year contract. Sure it might not be the newest thing around the block, but the handset is still more than relevant when pitted up against some of the newer offerings out there.
