HTC Desire 728 introduced in China: 5.5-inch HD screen, MT6753 SoC, and 13MP rear camera
The HTC Desire 728 has been made official in China. In July, the phone was certified in the country by TENAA and is now offered at a price of $269 USD. The latest HTC phablet is equipped with a 5.5-inch, 720 x 1280 HD resolution screen. That works out to a 267ppi pixel density. Under the hood you will find the MediaTek MT6753, carrying an octa-core 1.3GHz CPU along with the Mali-T720 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside along with 16GB of expandable internal storage.
The camera on back of the phone is 13MP while a 5MP snapper rest on the front. A 2800 mAh battery keeps the radio crackling, and quickly powers up thanks to 5V and 1.5A fast charging (plug sold separately). Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed.
The HTC Desire 728 has dual SIM capabilities and supports 4G LTE connectivity, Cat.4. That means that the handset is capable of speeds as fast as 150Mbps.
Thanks for the tip!
