The new HTC Bolt will likely appeal to those Sprint users that have a penchant for HTC's devices. While it's not featuring bleeding edge hardware specs inside, the Bolt is still an intriguing device - as we mentioned in a previous article of ours, it's the first aluminum Android phone that's water resistant. The phone, which is quite similar to the HTC 10 seemingly continues HTC's trend of being a rather audio-capable device despite the fact there is no 3.5mm audio jack on board.
HTC Bolt
We thought that it will be rather fitting to compare the new HTC Bolt with two of the best Android phones out there right now, the LG V20 and the excellent Google Pixel XL.
Before we get down to comparing the specs of the three phones head-to-head, we will show you how they stack up against one another size-wise.
Yes, the 5.7-inch V20 is the largest of the bunch, but the 5.5 HTC Bolt is not lagging behind - due to the large chin and bezel at the top, the new Sprint-exclusive device is just a couple of millimeters shorter and narrower.
In the meantime, the Pixel XL is slightly taller and thicker, but narrower and lighter. See for yourselves down below:
With the size comparison out of the way, it's time to inspect the spec sheets of the three devices and see how they differ in terms of raw specs. It's a bit baffling that the HTC Bolt arrives with what can be safely considered last year's specs (a Snapdragon 810 & 3GB RAM) while also sporting a rather steep price tag. It's just how it is.
Now, let's see what the three have in store for you:
