HTC 7 Pro gets January release date for Europe
Christmas has come and gone and for those of you who still haven't found the coveted gadget in the Christmas stocking, New Year is still a hope. But if your letter to Santa was about the upcoming QWERTY Windows Phone 7 slider, the HTC 7 Pro, you might have to wait until January 2011 to get it.
Earlier rumours slated the phone for a launch in January 2011 on Sprint and Verizon, and now carrier O2 Germany put up a teaser page for the HTC 7 Pro on its website with an estimated time of arrival of next month. You can add it to your wish list now on the carrier's dedicated webpage if you are in Europe. The price, however, is still unknown.
The HTC 7 Pro is one of the few handsets sporting a full QWERTY keyboard in the Windows Phone 7 family. Combine this with a generous 4 inches of screen estate and a resolution of 480x800 and the device is sure to find a sweet spot in the hearts of heavy texters. In addition, the HTC 7 Pro comes with a 1GHz CPU and an HD-video capable shooter, which will make it all the more appealing.
