Finnish company HMD Global is in the process of making its new Nokia smartphones available worldwide. The reception of the devices has been so warm that HMD has troubles in providing enough stock for many retailers and carriers across the globe.

However, come mid-July, all three Nokia smartphones that HMD promised to release on the market by the end of June should be available for purchase in just about every country where the company sells its devices.

Moving forward, HMD plans to launch even more smartphones, but there are no plans for any Android tablets. In an interview for a Finnish publication, Pekka Rantala, Marketing Director at HMD, said that his company is entirely focused on smartphone production and there will be no new tablets launched this year.

When asked about the rumored Nokia 9, he didn't give a clear answer, but he did say that HMD has a logical naming system and that we should expect new smartphones after Nokia 6 and prior to Nokia 3. He also confirmed that there would never be a Nokia 4 coming from HMD since the number is considered unfortunate in Asia.
