Gresso: Bring in the alligators!
Luxury phone manufacturer Gresso has just announced a new limited edition of its Grand Monaco model. Back in August, we saw the Gresso Grand Monaco in its original form, when, inspired by Formula 1, the manufacturer used carbon elements in the design. Then, some months later the handset got a little more delicate, replacing the carbon with leather.
The latest reincarnation of the luxurious cell phone is strictly designed for the ladies who adore such expensive toys. What differentiates the new edition of Grand Monaco from the previous ones is the presence of red alligator skin. Gresso claims to have used the best types of alligator skin there are, and also to have carefully processed it. Of course, the handset looks ultra-elegant and classy. Other design features of the model have remained the same however, with a body manufactured from titanium alloy and covered with several layers of ceramics. The display is still framed with 42-carat hand-polished sapphire crystal.
Specs-wise, the Gresso Grand Monaco is nothing to write home about, supporting features such as EDGE, Bluetooth and Java. The phone is offered at the affordable price of $2800.
To us, alligators are just too scary even when they are dead, so we wouldn’t really consider buying this phone. What about you?
