Google call center might be announced this month, to answer the burning questions of Nexus owners
If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! But if there's something weird going on with your Nexus smartphone or tablet, then who are you supposed to ask for advice? It is said that Google holds the answers to all burning questions, but sometimes, it is nice to be helped by an actual human being.
And you know what, it is rumored that Google will have its very own hotline for Nexus device owners. Evidence in support of that claim was found in a job offering aimed at outgoing Android aficionados. Technically, the third-party company recruiting the staff does not mention Google's name, but since it is mentioned that the client, located in the Mountain View area, recently released a tablet, it isn't hard to figure out who the employees will be working for.
It is said that the Google call center should go live by the end of the month, which lines up nicely with the possible October 29 announcement of the yet-to-be-confirmed LG Optimus Nexus smartphone. (There are photos of it here.) At this time, it is not exactly clear whether support will be provided only for Nexus-branded smartphones and tablets, or for all kinds of Android devices, though our money is on the former.
