On Monday, March 19, Google will be hosting a Google Developer Day at 2018's Game Developer Conference (GDC). Then from March 21st through the 23rd they will have a booth at the same conference. While you will need a GDC pass to attend in person, Google will be kindly live streaming the event for our viewing pleasure. If you are interested in seeing the event, you can sign up for updates via
Google's event page. Not sure if you want to? Here's what they will have in store...
Last year, when Google attended GDC they focused on increasing player engagement by showing off new monetisation and ad opportunities. This year, they will be focusing heavily on expanding the reach of mobile games, with emphasis on AR and multiplayer experiences. They will also be discussing how game makers can expand their user base to emerging markets. If any of this sounds interesting, you can check out the full schedule here.
We will be watching closely to see what Google has in store for the future of mobile gaming and will be sure to update you on any exciting reveals. What do you want to see most in mobile games? Let us know in the comments.
