Google Store now sells the LG Watch Urbane, Apple Watch-like price tag attached; Moto 360 discounted
In case you're not planning to buy the LG Watch Urbane from Verizon (which is getting ready to release it tomorrow), you can order the new smartwatch right now from Google Store. Google is asking $349 for the LG Watch Urbane, which thus becomes one of the most expensive Android Wear devices to date. As you may know, $349 is also the starting price of the Apple Watch (the Sport model).
It looks like Google Store lets you buy the Watch Urbane only if you reside in one of the following countries: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, or Australia.
Thanks to a stainless steel frame and a circular display (1.3 inches with 320 x 320 pixels), the LG Watch Urbane resembles a traditional watch. The timepiece features a heart rate sensor, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of storage space, and a 410 mAh battery. Check out our LG Watch Urbane hands-on to get a closer look at the device.
