Google launches Playground (formerly AR Stickers) on Pixel and Pixel 2 devices
Google announced back in October that its AR Sticker app will be relaunched as Playground on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. However, the search giant promised to bring it to older Pixel models in the coming months.
Today, the Mountain View company confirmed Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL owners can take advantage of what Playground has to offer. If you're not familiar with Playground, formerly known as AR Stickers, here is a quick rundown of its features.
Playground is meant to breath new life into your photos and videos through the use of animated stickers and unique captions. There are many ways to customize your pictures and video with Playground, but here are just a few to give you an idea of what's this all about.
For starters, you can send a virtual postcard from wherever you are using Playmoji, stickers, and captions. You can also use a selfie instead in which you're posing with characters who react to you.
And to make things even more exciting, Google announced that along with the release of Playground on the Pixel/XL and Pixel 2/XL, it also launched festive new Playmoji and stickers.

Also, you can add new flavor to a holiday scene with the new “Christmas Cheer” stickers. You can use Santa hats, mistletoe or any other sticker that would enrich your picture or video.
