If you made a hotel reservation, and had the confirmation sent to your Gmail account, Google Now can now send you some information about the area surrounding your hotel. You can ask to see a list of restaurants by your hotel, or ask for directions to it. You will also receive a Google Now card with information about your stay, including the dates of your reservation.
The Google Now search will be helpful before or during your stay. Of course, you will have to allow Google Now to run through your Gmail so that it can grab the pertinent information about your reservation.
