Google Maps gets update to version 4.3
Google Maps continues to improve with every new build and on Tuesday, version 4.3 was launched. One of the new things that you can find in the updated app is a brief review of the restaurant that you are checking out, right from the search results page. This saves you the time usually wasted by having to go through many reviews to find what people are saying about the place you are interested in. And to make your decision about where to eat even easier, Google uses color-coded bars to let you know at a glance what people are saying about a place to eat. You can select from different categories like places with great service, or a restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere. Another improvement involves transportation. Go to a map and click on a public transit station and you will see the upcoming arrival and departure times for the subway, bullet trains or buses. Version 4.3 of Google Maps makes it easier to add or remove people from your Google Latitude list. Want to remove someone that you're trying to stay away from? Simply tap the red "X" and the person is off your list. Click on the "+" to quickly add a person to your Latitude list. You can grab the updated version of Google Maps at the Android Market.
