Google rolls out dark theme to Gallery Go just one month after launch
Introduced just a month ago, Gallery Go is already getting a dark theme, something that much older Google apps haven't yet received. If you haven't used the app yet, you should know that this is essentially a lightweight, offline version of Google Photos.
The app is not only designed to work offline, but it also weighs in at around 10MB, so it's doesn't take too much space on your phone. Anyway, if you plan on start using it instead of Google Photos, you'll be pleased to know Gallery Go has just been updated with a dark theme.
Almost similar to the dark theme that's been pushed to Google Photos a while ago, Gallery Go users will now be able to switch to a lighter shade of gray rather than straight pitch black. The bottom bar remains transparent though, while text will turn to white when dark theme is enabled.
One other thing that's important to mention is that Google announced the dark theme is “rolling out over the next few days with the latest Gallery Go update,” so if you don't see it right away, then give it a couple more days.
