Google Fit updated with dark theme, improved sleep insights
If you're wondering what's the next Google app that will get a dark theme, we can solve the mystery for you. Google has just announced its fitness app, Google Fit is now getting a major update that brings a dark theme, among other things.
The new dark theme is meant to make Google Fit gentler on the eyes, but it will also save battery life if you're using the app often. You'll find the new dark theme option in the settings menu and you can enable/disable it whenever you want.
Besides the new dark theme, Google also added improved sleep charts, which means users will be able to track their sleep patterns along with all other activities they do throughout the day. Simply connect your sleep app to Google Fit and you'll receive information in the form of charts that show your sleep patterns over time. Furthermore, users can add, edit or access their sleep history through the journal.
According to Google, all the new features and improvements announced today will be rolled out to Android and iOS devices over the next week.
