Google Earth appears on the Nexus One
Call it strange or something, but Android still does not have a Google Earth app available for it – something that's eerily blatant if you check out the Android Market. When you look to one of its competitor, like Apple, the iPhone already has an application that was released for quite some time. Although there were plenty of rumors before MWC swirling around Google Earth making an appearance on the Android platform, Google CEO Eric Schmidt performed a demonstration of the app that was running on a Nexus One during the actual event. Talk about the long wait for it to finally be previewed – especially when you consider that Android and Google Earth are both Google's creations. It's rumored that it'll integrate Google's voice search with the application so looking up specific locations will be a breeze; still, there is no official confirmation when we'll see it available.
