Google Body for Honeycomb makes it to Android Market, and then gets pulled
A very good example of how tablets can join together with app developers to create stunning educational material, Google Body earlier Tuesday was available for downloading on Android devices running Honeycomb or higher. What's that, you say, that leaves only the Motorola XOOM at the moment? That certainly is correct and XOOM owners got to look at a 3D representation of the female human body. The app allows the user to search for bones, muscles and organs and more. Zooming in, the app lets you go to any part of the anatomy that you want to see.

Unfortunately, the app has been pulled although the listing still appears in the Android Market. So far, no official explanation has been made as to the reasoning behind pulling the app. Luckily, a video was made before Google Body disappeared.

We're sure that the app will return shortly, it is just too well done and too educational to just let die. And yes, a version using the male human body will be available shortly. When it was up, the app was available for free.
