Gone in a flash: In 5.2 seconds, 47,440 Lenovo K3 Notes are sold
Yesterday, we told you that over 500,000 registrations were opened for the pilot flash sale of the Lenovo K3 Note in India. The sale took place this morning on the website of online retailer Flipkart, and resulted in the purchase of 47,440 units in 5.2 seconds. Those who missed out on buying the phone will get another chance next week. Registrations for that sale will begin at 6pm Indian time today.
The handset features a 5.5-inch screen, with a MediaTek MT-6752 chipset under the hood. The latter comes with an octa-core 1.7GHz CPU and the Mali-T760 MP2 GPU. 2GB of RAM is aboard along with 16GB of expandable storage, and the back to front camera combo weighs in at 13MP/5MP. Keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh battery and the K3 Note has Android 5.0 pre-installed. The dual SIM model supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.

The Lenovo K3 Note, priced at the equivalent of $158 USD, is the most affordable handset in India sporting an FHD (1080 x 1920) resolution screen. As such, it represents quite a value for smartphone buyers in the country.
