Would you like Apple to launch a gold iPhone X?
Earlier this year, before Apple officially announced theiPhone X, various rumors had it that the company would launch a gold versionof the new handset. As you likely know, that didn't happen, so the iPhone Xcurrently comes in only two color variants: silver and space gray. Meanwhile, both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (announced at the same time with the iPhoneX) have gold versions, in addition to space gray and silver ones.
So why wouldn't the iPhone X come in gold, too? According toa previous report, well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple had encounteredunspecified production issues related to the gold iPhone X. But he suggestedthat the gold model could be released later than the other two colorvariants.
While we can't possibly tell if a gold iPhone X will everhit the market, we want to know what you think about this. Would the near-bezel-less handsetlook better in gold, and, if so, should Apple make efforts to launch this colorvariant sometime soon? P.S.: The video embedded above shows three early iPhone X mockups, including a gold model - though that's a copper gold color, which is darkerthan the gold seen on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
