Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 to launch October 4th at AT&T?
Finally, after all this time waiting for the Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 to have a U.S. launch, we could be within days of the event happening. A leaked internal document reveals that the GPS-centric smartphone will be released October 4th by AT&T. According to EngadgetMobile, the recipient of the tip, the price will be $299.99 with a 2 year contract and that is after a $100 mail-in rebate. That means you will have to lay out about 4 Benjamins to pick up the device. What you are getting in return is a 3.5 inch touchscreen with all of the usual suspects like a 3.2MP camera, HTML browser, microSD slot and triband HSDPA connectivity. The combination of the internet and Garmin's expertise on navigation helps you find addresses quickly with turn-by-turn directions. With all of the new smartphones expected in the next few weeks, anyone out there focusing on the G60?
