French publisher and developer of mobile games Gameloft has just announced the wide availability of its survival game Zombie Anarchy. The new title was soft-launched on both the Android and iOS platforms a while ago, so not everyone could download the game.

However, beginning today, mobile gamers can download Zombie Anarchy from anywhere in the world. From what we've been able to gather, the title is free-to-play on Android, iOS and Windows Phone, but it does come with in-app purchases.

Aside from the single-player experience, the game also offers PvP battles where players can form armies of skilled scavengers to fight rival players from around the world and steal their resources.

In Zombie Anarchy you must find the last humans on Earth and train them to survive in an apocalyptic world dominated by … zombies. Each survivor features a unique fighting ability and backstory that you are encouraged to discover.

But in order to have a sustainable band of heroes, you will have to build yourself a camp and defend it very well. Obviously, you will need resources, which are hard to come by in the apocalypse. Luckily, you can scavenge resources and rare items to build and upgrade your buildings, but also your survivors.

With the help of your army of veteran survivors, you can try and eradicate hordes of zombies, as well as conquer camps to collect the much needed resources.

If you're using an Android device, you should know that the game is compatible with Android 4.0 and up, but it's also fully supported on devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
