Galaxy Tab could be announced on Verizon as early as Thursday
Samsung is doing with its 7" Froyo tablet what it did with the US carrier versions of the Galaxy S. After the leak that it will be available in the AT&T's stable, an internal document uncovered the Galaxy Tab in Verizon's lineup as well. The snapshot from Big Red's announcement clearly states that the tablet's "upcoming launch" will be unveiled on Thursday.
That coincides with Samsung's big event announced for September 16th in New York City, where it also plans to introduce its Media Hub market for movie rentals and purchases. It will be great to have the 1GHz Hummingbird goodness both in smartphones and in tablets on the major US carriers, and seems exactly the plan Samsung will use to entice us to its best Android devices. Now, we can't wait for the Q3 and Q4 financial results of Sammy to start pouring in, so we can see how this massive launch strategy has paid off worldwide.
