Galaxy S6 up for preorder as release date nears, priced free with a EUR 35 monthly contract
A Dutch carrier has already jumped the gun on offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 in gold, black and white versions, with the 32 GB model going for free at EUR 44 per month on a two year contract with a gig of data and 300 voice call minutes.
While the retailer uses Galaxy A5 as placeholder for the Galaxy S6 pictures, the sheer fact that it has put Samsung's finest for preorder already indicates that the release date won't be far behind the official unveiling this Sunday.
The Dutch shop lists the Galaxy S6 as having a "quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57" chipset, which can only mean Samsung's Exynos 7420 will be coming with the handset, and the dimensions are pegged as 143.3 x 70.8 x 6.9 mm, with 165 g of weight. This kind of heft for such a compact handset mean that a metal chassis and/or frame might be arriving with the Galaxy S6 indeed, just as rumored.
