Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge are Samsung's best smartphones for taking selfies
Samsung at IFA 2014 today announced its Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge, both coming with plenty of new features. Right now, we’re going to talk about the cameras on the Note 4 and Note Edge, which bring various improvements over the snappers of last year’s Note 3.
With the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, Samsung is taking the selfie craze seriously. We could describe the new Notes as “selfie phones” - although, of course, that would be an understatement, because the handsets are much more than that. Anyhow, the Note 4 and Note Edge offer the same 3.7 MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and a default 90-degree shooting angle. There’s even a Wide Selfie mode that provides 120-degree panoramic selfies - so you can include a lot more of your surroundings in one shot. Moreover, the new Notes have buttons on the back, just below the rear camera - these let you take selfies with ease (in a similar way that LG's G3 rear button works for selfies).
Obviously, the rear cameras on the Note 4 and Note Edge are also very promising. They're both 16 MP snappers with Smart Optical Image Stabilization for blur-free photos, even in low-light conditions. We're looking forward to testing the camera capabilities of Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, and we hope to have reviews up as soon as possible. Stay tuned!
