Future Xperia smartphones to get an overhauled music player?
We’ve already seen a couple of images leak out teasing us with Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia smartphones, and while there’s still a week before they get officially announced, we’re already seeing some of the possible changes in software to go with them.
An image surfaced on SE-centric blog ESATO showing the music player allegedly running on future Sony Ericsson handsets. The app has been reworked in a very WP Metro style with tiles and an image at the top, and this looks like an overlay of the standard Android 4.0 music player. There’s also an equalizer allowing you to fine tune sound levels with conveniently large buttons.
At CES, Sony Ericsson is expected to announce at least two new handsets - a boxy flagship, possibly the Sony Ericsson Nozomi, and another curvy handset, probably the Sony Ericsson Nypon, borrowing some of the magazine fold design of the Sony Tablet S. The company is also finally to make the jump into dual-core technology and 720p screen resolutions. For the rest, we’d need to wait 7 more days, but now let us know how you feel about the reworked music player - is it better than the stock one?
