Fully metal-clad Galaxy C5 leaks in another set of photos
For the past month, we've been seeing leaks of a mysterious new Samsung Galaxy C series of devices. With the specs of a Galaxy C7 and real-life photos of a Galaxy C5 having leaked out, it looks like we will get a group of metal-clad smartphones (no glass backs) with specs slightly higher than the ones on the Galaxy A series.
It sounds like a weird thing for Samsung to do – back in 2015, the company did say that it has seen how oversaturating the market is hurting its business, and we were hearing talks of plans to tighten up the Galaxy smartphone lines. Yet, here we are, expecting a couple of new models that seem like Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 variations.
And it seems they are pretty much ready for primetime – the Samsung Galaxy C5 has leaked in its full glory, front and back, in a couple of photos that have better lighting. Speculations say that the handset would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617, 4 GB of RAM, and a 16 MP / 8 MP camera combo, and we can clearly see in the photos that the rear cam has a dual tone flash — something that's not often spotted on a Samsung smartphone.

As far as any details about a potential release date, regional availability, or even pricing for these smartphones would be — our guess is as good as any at this point.
