Fully assembled chassis said to be of the new iPhone leaks, flaunts slender profile next to the 4S
Pictures of a claimed assembled sixth generation iPhone are not seen often, although we've had numerous component leaks so far that show both the front and back of the device.
The repair shop that leaked some of the most convincing components before, now leaked a fully assembled body, sans the camera module inserted. The chassis has also been sized up with the iPhone 4S, showing how much thinner it is than Apple's current phone crop, made possible by the use of in-cell touch display, made by Japan Display Co. (joint venture of Toshiba, Hitachi and Sony), as well as LG and possibly Sharp, which had yield issues until recently.
The new dock connector and the audio jack moved to the bottom of the device are also visible, as are those perforated openings at the bottom, possible for the speaker(s) grill.
