Free wood back for Motorola Moto X buyers using the Moto Maker site, until August 21
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Motorola believes that you wood would be more apt to purchase the Motorola Moto X if you were given a free wood back. So, from now until August 21st, those customizing a Moto X using the Moto Maker website will be able to order the wood back, without having to pay extra for it. Once the deal expires, you will have to shell out $25 to turn your Moto X into Pinocchio's relative.
Motorola has four different variants of wood available on the Moto Maker site, walnut, bamboo, ebony and teak. The Moto X right now is available sans contract, for as low as $349.99 for the 16GB model. The 32GB model is $50 more at $399.99.
It was disappointing for many Moto X buyers last year, when the Moto Maker site launched without the wood backs being ready for prime time. Now that Motorola is giving buyers a chance to customize their Moto X with a cool looking wood back for free, you might want to take advantage of the deal, which comes to an end on Thursday.
