Foxconn says iPhone demand is so huge that "it's not easy" to catch up
We know Apple kicked off iPhone 5 sales well - 5 million units were sold in the opening weekend, but how well is the new iPhone doing these days? We can only guess, but judging from the latest comments from Foxconn, the companies manufacturing the device, demand for it is simply massive.
"It's not easy to make the iPhones. We are falling short of meeting the huge demand," Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou said.
Well, that’s not a bad complaint for a manufacturer to have, is it?
Latest rumor on the street is that along with Hon Hai Precision Industry, the main iPhone manufacturer, another big Foxconn company known for making devices for companies like Nokia, is now also manufacturing iPhones.
There is no confirmation on that though. With Holiday season just around the corner, we can definitely expect the iPhone to continue demanding more from Foxconn.
